RA® Materials (formerly Weir Materials) was established in 1987 to market
and sell products manufactured in our World leading ZERON® 100 (UNS S32760)
superduplex stainless steel.
In 2008 the company was acquired by Rolled Alloys, a global leader in the
supply of specialty alloys for heat and corrosion resistance to a wide range
of industries. RA® Materials has links to Rolled Alloys companies Worldwide.
RA® Materials sells bulk pipework packages to end users, engineering
contractors and fabricators. We also sell to pump and valve industry
customers, other OEM manufacturers, stockists and fastener companies who
wish to manufacture their own products in an alloy compatible with the
material of construction of the bulk pipework system. Our inventory provides
ready availability of quality products.
ZERON® 100 (UNS S32760) is stocked in Manchester, UK and Tulsa, USA in
standard ANSI/ASME sizes in both finished and semi-finished forms.
Availability of raw material and finished items allows for on-time delivery
for orders in accordance with customer documentation, inspection and testing
requirements, including NORSOK and EXXON MOBIL. All melting and refining,
hot working, forming and heat treatments are fully qualified and in
accordance with approved procedures and processes. RA® Materials holds ISO
9001. We saw cut, deep hole bore, OD turn and centerless grind bars, profile
plates, using plasma, water jet and/or laser cutting and we machine
components for customers. We ship Worldwide. We have finished and
semi-finished raw material in project quantities to facilitate fast delivery
of large project requirements.
When requested, we fabricate spools and vessels to customer isometrics and
fabrication specifications. We use ZERON® 100X welding consumables and all
welding is done by approved welders working to qualified procedures.
RA® Materials is a member of BSSA (British Stainless Steel Association), an
industrial member of TWI (The Welding Institute) a sustaining member of the
Institute of Corrosion and is registered with FPAL.
